Any reason to prefer npm over yarn?

Great question! You probably already know this, but when it comes to choosing between npm, yarn, or pnpm, it's important to consider your specific needs, project requirements, and personal preferences.

While any package manager could have been used for this guide, we opted for npm because it is the default package manager. Moreover, npm has strong community support and hosts a vast collection of open-source packages in its registry.

90% of the (limited) experience I've had has been with yarn because the organisations I've worked with have already been using it.
